This young male leopard was resting on top of a termite mound in the hope that the warthog inside the burrow of the mound would move out, unbeknown to the leopards presence. After sitting in the rain for some time on top of the mound not moving, the young leopard decided that his patience had not rewarded him with a meal, so with a quick shake to rid himself of the water that had drained through his coat he quickly moved off into some thick bush for further cover from the rain.
