Around the globe, park rangers are on the frontline in the ongoing fight to protect our natural heritage. World Ranger Day offers a chance to pay tribute to their vital work; to give a heartfelt salute to rangers who continue to put themselves in danger for critical causes, and to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Warmed by the eruption that took place on social media today and in the week’s lead up, we decided to pull together some of our favourite tributes.
